Finding the ideal mascara can be a challenge for all of us. Sometimes it’s too clumpy, doesn’t curl your lashes, lasts about two seconds until you sneeze and it’s down your cheek, itchy, doesn’t make your lashes longer, and in the end you end up going weeks without any mascara at all because it takes too long in the morning. Everyone has their own mascara story aye? These things have happened to the best of us and with years of experiments, panda eyes and clumpy lashes, I’ve finally find my perfect 5 that I would take anywhere with me.
1. Estee Lauder’s Sumptuous Extreme Mascara
I’ve been using this mascara for as long as I can remember and it’s brilliant. It volumizes the lashes whilst making them curlier too. It doesn’t dry out throughout the day and it keeps the lashes lifted. I remember wearing it in high school and I’d get questioned if I had fake eyelashes on or not!
2. Benefits’ Bad Gal Bang
The way the wand is made on this mascara makes is impossible to miss any lashes out when you apply it. It isn’t the best for volume but I like to wear it for more of an everyday look. It’s long lasting and doesn’t move or smudge and panda eyes do not start forming throughout the day. I always apply a few coats just to get it performing to the best of its ability.
3. Urban Decay Prevision Mascara
I am in love with this mascara, I will definitely be repurchasing once it’s ran out. The wand it incredible, making it easy to include every eyelash as well as lifting them without problem. I normally use a few coats on this one too as it’s very buildable and doesn’t start making your lashes look clumpy.
4. Too Faced Better Than Sex
This one really volumizes your lashes and gets them looking much fuller. I haven’t yet tried the waterproof one but I’ve heard it works just as well too. The wand is the shape of an hourglass but manages to perform brilliantly. It enhances your lashes without looking fake like some do and overall I would rate it as one of the best ones I’ve used.
5. Too Faced Damn Girl
This one took awhile to get used to but once I’d used it a few times I began to love it. It enhances my brown eyes making them look bigger and my lashes fuller. It doesn’t need that many coats as a lot of product tends to come out on the wand at once. I’ve started using this one on a daily, as it’s long lasting and makes my lashes look huge after curling them.
Thank you for reading, I hope you all have a great week! Let me know in the comments which mascara you’re loving right now? I would love to try some new ones out so any recommendations is appreciated!
