Hey guys, welcome back to my blog. As we all know summer has arrived which means to most of us that we have to switch up our perfume game. For me, I love strong floral scents that when you walk into a room people instantly compliment. I’ve decided to put together 5 of my favorite summer scents for 2019 which varies in price from high street to high end, so suitable for any price limits.
Perfume is always meant to make us feel confident and instantly fresher. I also love when different types of perfumes remind me of different memories and whenever I wear it I am always thinking about that. For example I brought the Paco Rabanne perfume in Spain with my friends and now every time I wear it I am thrown back to the beach days and clear air which I love.
So, here’s 5 perfumes that I am loving this summer that I would recommend you guys check out.
1 – Boss Babe by Missguided
Starting with probably the least floral scented from the lot, is the relatively new Boss Babe perfume by Missguided. It’s not the most long lasting so needs to be re-applied throughout the day but it has that head turning scent that it’s one of the first things people notice about you. As you can tell from the name, it’s made to leave you feeling empowering and that you can conquer anything thrown at you. I feel it’s more fruity than floral but it has hints of bergamot and pear with accents of pistachio in it and leaves you feeling instantly ready for the day. For the high street price, it is a pretty good perfume.
DKNY Be Delicious Perfume
One of my all time summer favorites is this DKNY Be Delicious perfume, it’s a summer essential. If you like fruity scents and especially apple then you will LOVE this. The bottle is literally in the shape of an apple.. talk about being on theme. Now, this is a perfume I wouldn’t say you notice the scent straight away but it’s a nice lowkey one that people gradually notice. It’s apple scented with hints of exotic flowers and sensual woods but to be fair I only bought it because all I could smell was the apple and I immediately loved it. Again it’s not the most long lasting so you will need to top up on it throughout the day but it is such a perfect summer scent.
Jean Paul Gaultier’s Scandal
This is the most perfect summer perfume for women who want to feel like the ultimate bad-ass girl boss. It is the most long lasting out of all 5 and will keep it’s smell throughout most of the day. It has a sweet scent to it which is elegant and described as a ‘high-society lady or queen of the night’ which I think suits it perfectly. If you’re looking for a high end perfume that has brilliant quality and is long lasting for this coming summer then this is the one I would recommend for you guys.
Shawn Mendes Signature perfume
This is actually such a decent perfume for a celebrity to come out with. I will admit normally if my favorite singer came out with a perfume I’d buy it despite the fact I don’t actually love the smell and just to support them but this Shawn Mendes perfume puts all of them to shame. For starters the detailing on the bottle gets a 10/10, the scent is relatively strong and somewhat long lasting. It’s the perfect high street fragrance for this summer. It’s very sweet with hints of lemon oil, pineapple and apple. So if you’re a fan of sweet scents and Shawn Mendes, this one’s for you.
Paco Rabanne Olympea Eau de Perfume
This is the first high end perfume I ever owned as I instantly fell in love with it and every summer I always seem to be bringing it back out. It’s a head turner scent that will get you walking into rooms as if you’re Anna Wintour. The scent’s strong and long lasting which is always a good thing. On the website they describe the perfume as ‘the modern day Goddess’ and I couldn’t agree more. It has you feeling like you’re about to attend a fashion show or literally like you’re in a dior advert. 100% would suggest you guys try it.
