Damn it’s November already? 2018 lasted about 5 days. But since it is already November, most people including myself want to get everything that needs to be done out of the way before the year ends. This includes work, business stuff, and our goals, as we decide that the best way for a fresh start is a new year.
As you can tell by the title, this post is going to be all about styling your co-ords. I feel that co-ords give a sophisticated look making them appropriate for either a meeting or a stroll around the city. They also look amazing for events or for a nice meal out. I never used to like matching tops and bottoms but recently I’ve been loving the way they look together. In this blog post I will be going through 2 of my favorite co-ord looks including one from Topshop and one from a new brand I’ve recently discovered – Bershka.
Okay, so to start things off the first Co-ord is this Bershka blazer and belted skirt. As you probably already know the pattern on this is very very similar to the Burberry one, which I personally think makes the look appear more high end. The quality was strong and very luxurious considering it was only £60.
The blazer was a nice length, almost up to where the skirt ends. They obviously fitted well together, although the skirt was a little short. I paired them with a plain black T-shirt as it was a neutral color so it went well with the patterned outfit. The aspect I love most about the skirt is the belt that blends in. It has a big silver circle which makes it obvious that it’s a belt and it gives a more flattering shape.

The next co-ord is this luxury looking Topshop two piece. This is also inspired by a high end brand, but this time it’s Chanel. This look is very elegant and looks like it cost a lot more than it did. The material was pretty heavy, but expected for plaid clothing. I also used the same black top from the first look to style with it as the plain top and patterned co-ord went well together once again.
I absolutely love the color of this co-ord and I feel it gives off an expensive vibe. The jacket also had huge diamond buttons that made the look have a more glamorous edge to it. I wore this to one of my bestfriends birthday party and it didn’t once feel uncomfortable.

All in all, I feel that co-ords are suitable for many occasions and can make any outfit look put together. As autumn in the UK is not skirt or shorts weather appropriate, you can always wear leggings or tights underneath to keep warm and cozy.
